제물포클럽은 1901년 개항 전 인천에 거주하는 미국인, 영국인, 독일인, 프랑스인, 러시아인, 소수의 중국인, 일본인 등 외국인들이 우정을 쌓는 장소로 사용되기 위해 1901년 창설됐다. 2층짜리 벽돌 건물은 도서관, 당구대, 테니스장 등의 시설로 구성됐다.
1953년부터 1990년까지 인천박물관으로, 1990년부터 2006년까지 인천문화회관으로 사용되었으며, 2007년 제물포구락부로 명칭이 변경되었다. 이제 현대 문화 교류를 경험할 수 있는 사이트를 제공합니다. |
