동대문디자인플라자(DDP)는 꿈(Dream), 디자인(Design), 놀이(Play)라는 의미를 담고 있습니다. 다양한 전시회, 패션쇼, 포럼, 컨퍼런스 등 국내외 행사를 개최하고 있습니다. 건물 단지는 알림터, 봄터, 살림터, DDP 디자인 박물관, 디자인 마켓 & 어울림 광장, 동대문 역사 문화 공원이라는 구역으로 나누어져 있습니다. 세계적인 건축가 자하 하디드(Zaha Hadid)가 디자인한 건물 외관은 섬세한 곡선과 대담한 형태로 많은 사진작가들의 눈길을 사로잡는다.
