선유도해수욕장은 유리구슬처럼 투명하고 아름다운 백사장이 펼쳐진 천연 해안사구 해변으로 명사십리해수욕장이라고도 불린다. 선유도해수욕장은 바다 속으로 100m 정도 들어가도 수심이 허리 높이에 불과하고, 파도가 높지 않아 안전하게 물놀이를 즐길 수 있다.
