채석강 근처에 위치한 격포해수욕장은 채석강해수욕장이라고도 불린다. 채석강의 경치와 서해의 일몰이 더욱 유명한 곳이다. 여름에는 해변이 인기를 끌며 경치와 수상 활동을 즐기는 방문객들로 붐빕니다. 물이 맑고 경사가 완만해 특히 500m 길이의 백사장이 있어 가족 단위 여행객에게 인기가 높다. 해변 주변의 소나무 숲은 그늘을 찾는 이들에게 완벽한 휴식 공간을 제공합니다. 근처에는 숙박 시설과 레스토랑도 많이 있습니다.
