위봉산성 동쪽에 위치한 위봉폭포폭포는 높이 60m의 2단폭포이다. 폭포수와 접해 있는 기암괴석과 울창한 나무숲은 신비로운 광경을 연출하고 있어 오래전부터 완산팔경 중 하나로 꼽히는 것도 놀라운 일이 아니다. 인근 관광지로는 임진왜란 전쟁터, 송광사, 동화저수지, 대아저수지, 화심온천 등이 있다.
