우리나라 4대강 중 하나인 섬진강은 임실과 순창에서 발원한다. 곡성, 구례, 하동의 여러 수역과 합쳐져 남해로 흘러든다.
곡성에서는 섬진강을 선자강이라고도 한다. 이 지역을 통과하는 길이는 약 36km입니다. 강 전체에 크고 작은 계곡이 있어 사계절 내내 환상적인 전망과 휴식 공간을 제공합니다. 또한, 매년 여름에는 강변축제와 섬진강문학포럼을 개최하여 강변에서 즐거운 여름 활동을 즐길 수 있습니다. |
