경상남도 통영에 위치한 세병관은 1605년 6대 총사령관 이경준이 건립한 것으로 경복궁 경회루, 경회루와 함께 조선시대 가장 넓은 건물로 잘 알려져 있다. 여수시 진남관.
세병관은 여황산 기슭에 자리잡고 있으며 통영이 내려다보인다. 바로 옆에는 운주당(조선해군 군사교육원인 제승당이라고도 불림) 등 수군기지 통제영 유적이 남아 있다. 세병관은 전쟁의 종결, 전쟁 무기의 세척 및 청소를 상징합니다. |
