이 거대한 온천단지는 1974년 석유 시추 과정에서 영일만의 지열이 국내에서 가장 높다는 사실이 밝혀진 후 1988년 영일만에 건설이 시작됐다.
물의 주성분은 칼슘, 나트륨, 불소, 마그네슘, 염소, 황산, 불소, 아연, 게르마늄, 라듐 등 건강한 미네랄을 함유하고 있습니다. 영일만 온천은 알칼리 중탄산염으로 pH 9.43을 유지하고 있습니다. 수온은 35℃로 다소 낮습니다. 온천수는 피로 회복, 미용, 노화 방지, 신경통, 심장병, 간 기능에 도움을 줍니다. 이곳의 물도 질감이 매우 독특합니다. |
