모시는 소곡주와 함께 한산의 특산품 중 하나이다. 서천한산모시박물관은 모시 제작의 역사와 과정을 설명하고, 숙련된 장인이 모시를 만드는 모습을 직접 볼 수 있는 기회를 제공한다. 방연옥 선생님의 도움으로 중요무형문화재 제14호로 지정된 공정을 직접 체험해 볼 수도 있고, 자연염색, 생활용품 만들기 등 체험 프로그램도 가능하다.
