초기 교회건축의 형태는 선교활동이 막 정착되던 시기였기 때문에 대부분 한옥양식이었다. 대부분의 교인들은 서양인이었기 때문에 이러한 한식 건물에 불편함을 느껴 서양식 교회를 짓기 시작했습니다. 그 결과 한식교회는 대부분 사라지거나 재건축됐다.
그러나 강경부곡감리교회는 오늘날까지도 한식 건물을 유지하고 있어 매우 독특하고 귀중한 건축물이다. 이 건물은 전통에서 현대로의 기술적 전환을 연구하는 데 중요한 자료로 간주됩니다. |
