풍남문은 1734년 조선시대에 건립되었으며 보물로 지정되어 있다. 풍남문은 전주의 4개 성문 중 최남단에 위치한 문이다. 1767년에 화재로 건물이 심하게 파손된 후 이후에 문루를 복원했습니다. 이 문은 임진왜란 때 다시 소실되었다가 현재의 모습으로 복원되었습니다.
