월명공원은 군산의 인기 관광지이자
인근의 5개 산을 연결합니다. 공원에는 12km에 달하는 산책로와 전망대, 조각공원, 각종 기념물이 마련되어 있습니다. 불꽃이나 바람에 날리는 돛을 닮은 수시타워에서는 군산 시내 전체와 군산 남쪽 바다, 금강 하구, 대규모 장항제련공장이 한눈에 들어온다. 공원에는 잘 가꾸어진 정원과 30년 된 등나무, 벚나무가 있습니다. 공원이 벚꽃으로 뒤덮이는 매년 4월에는 벚꽃 사진 콘테스트가 열립니다. |
