어청도는 물이 맑기로 유명한 곳이다. 군산에서 북서쪽으로 약 72km 떨어진 곳에 위치한 이 섬은 한국과 중국 사이의 전략적 중간 기착항이었습니다. 섬 주민들 대부분이 어부들이기 때문에 섬 곳곳에서는 마늘, 야채뿐만 아니라 다양한 해산물을 맛볼 수 있습니다.
