치령계곡은 덕유산 인근 안성면 통안마을 뒤편에 위치해 있다. 구천동 계곡만큼 유명하지는 않지만, 폭포와 기암괴석, 연못이 어우러져 아름다운 계곡이다. 가장 잘 알려진 명소는 칠연폭포인데, '풀과 연결된 일곱 개의 폭포'라는 뜻이다. 그곳에서는 순수한 물이 한 웅덩이에서 다음 웅덩이로 부드럽게 흘러갑니다.
