전평제 저수지는 매월동과 벽진동 지역의 농장에 농업용수를 공급하고 홍수와 가뭄을 예방하기 위해 1943년에 건설되었습니다. 1999년부터 저수지는 휴게공간으로 바뀌었고, 나무데크가 저수지를 가로지르며 중앙에 인공섬이 생겼다. 현재 이 지역은 가족 단위 방문객을 위한 수변 휴식 공간이자 생태탐험 공간으로 활용되고 있습니다.
