鏡浦海水浴場のすぐ南には、ドゥブ（豆腐）で有名な草堂ドゥブ村があります。チョダンドゥブは、挽いた豆と東海の塩水から作られ、柔らかくて軽い豆腐になります。この村の名前「チョダン」は、かつてここに住んでいたチョダン・ホヨプという名家の名前に由来しています。ホヨプは息子で作家兼詩人のホ・ギュン（1569～1618）と娘で詩人のホナン・ソルホン（1563～1589）の父親である。ホ・ギュンとホナン・ソルホンの家があった場所に韓国の伝統的な家屋が再建されています。
