陽川郷校はソウルに残る唯一の朝鮮王朝時代の教育機関であり、ソウル市記念物第8号に指定されている。朝鮮太宗12年(1411年)に建てられた古い学校で、1981年に全面復元された。敷地内には大成殿、明寧堂講堂、伝昭殿など8つの建物があります。ここでは、春と秋の年 2 回、孔子を祭る国家祭祀が行われます。また、小・中・高校生だけでなく一般市民を対象に、漢字や書道、東洋画などを学ぶさまざまなプログラムも実施しています。
