松月洞は松林の間から月が見えることから名付けられたそうです。 1883 年に仁川港が開港され、多くの外国人がこの地域に定住するようになりました。やがて豊かな村となり、多くの若者が徐々に移住し、村は停滞状態に陥った。そのため、村の発展を促進するために、あちこちに古典的なおとぎ話を描いて装飾する改修プロジェクトが持ち込まれました。
