和順支石墓遺跡は孝山里道谷面と大新里春陽面を結ぶ峠の滝の近くに位置する。専門家らによると、道谷面孝山里にある９８０個の石のうち、１３５個が支石墓だという。破損した石のテーブルも約100基あり、当時の姿を保っています。
和順支石墓が特別なのは、このような小さな地区に韓国最大の石台を含む596基もの支石墓があることです。 華順支石墓遺跡は文化財の重要性が認められ、高敞支石墓、江華支石墓とともに 2000 年に世界遺産第 997 号に登録されました。 |
