メミ城は、2003年の台風メミで耕地を失った市民のペク・スンサムさんが自然災害から農作物を守るためにたった一人で築いた城壁である。海岸近くに四角い石を積み上げ、セメントを詰める作業を繰り返し、今では城を思わせる城壁となった。中世ヨーロッパの頃。その規模とデザインは、設計図なしで建てられたとは信じられないほどです。
