切頭山忠烈祠は、1866 年の弁仁迫害の現場であり、多くのローマ カトリック教徒が惨殺されました。この場所は弁仁迫害 100 周年を記念し、切頭山殉教の精神を偲ぶために建てられました。切頭山忠烈祠の以前の名前は龍頭峰 (龍頭峰) や蚕頭峰 (蚕頭峰) などでしたが、2000 年に改名されました。
殉教者博物館と殉教者記念碑は 1967 年に建設され、1972 年に殉教者公園が一般公開されました。 1984年には教皇ヨハネ・パウロ2世がこの地を訪問し、1985年にはマザー・テレサが訪問した。 |
