ボンネポッポ滝は、浸食差動によって形成された高さ 30 メートルの 3 段の滝です。下の 2 つの層は浸食された塊状岩によって形成され、最も高い層は粗面岩です。ボンネポポ滝は鬱陵島の主要な水源として利用されています。鳳莱ポッポ瀑布の管理事務所から滝まで続く遊歩道、涼しい空気が吹き出す自然の風穴、ストレスを和らげる森林の隠れ家などを楽しむことができます。バンネポッポ滝とその周辺地域は、自然の名所として最適であるだけでなく、豊かな森林生態系と地質学的特徴でも高く評価されています。
