龍華寺の正確な創建は不明ですが、新羅の文武王の治世中に創建されたことをほのめかす逸話があります。この寺の本堂には、貞村里石仏立像（宝物第118号）と貞村里石仏坐像（宝物第120号）の2つの宝物が納められている。寺院の敷地内には他にも多くの石塔、灯籠、噴水があります。
