七甲山休養林は、緑豊かな自然林の中に1990年に開園しました。公園内には、自然の中でゆったりとした時間を過ごすための施設がたくさんあります。宿泊客は、暖房、キッチン、シャワーを備えたキャビンに宿泊したり、キャンプ場でキャンプしたりできます。森には研修棟や講堂もあり、リトリートを開催することもできます。日帰り旅行者は、数多くの遊歩道やハイキング コースのほか、水遊び場や展望台を楽しむことができます。この森は七甲山道立公園の隣に位置しており、この地域には多くの渓谷があり、自然を満喫できるほか、天長湖やモードクサ寺もあります。
