甘月庵は忠清南道瑞山市甘月里にある小さな庵です。甘月庵は、朝鮮王朝の太祖の僧侶であった無鶴大僧によって建立されました。ムハクがこの庵で月（ウォルは韓国語で月を意味します）の下で瞑想しているときに悟りを開いたと言われているため、庵の名前はムハク自身と直接結びついています。甘月岩庵は、干潮時には自然歩道で海岸とつながっていますが、満潮時には歩道が水没し、庵は島となります。特に夜は月明かりが海に反射し、庵とその周囲の島々が幻想的な景色を作り出します。
