東大門ダク ハンマリ横丁は東大門ショッピング複合施設の近くにあり、ここの多くのレストランは 5 ～ 30 年前から営業しています。レストランができる前は、商店街で働く人々が路地沿いに住んでいて、 よくタッカルグクス（チキンヌードルスープ）を作っていました。時が経ち、経済が改善するにつれて、この料理はごく普通のものとなり、焦点は麺から鶏肉自体に移りました。現在、観光客はその発祥の地でこの郷土料理を楽しむことができます。
