龍岩寺は長龍山の中腹に位置し、法住寺の分寺です。新羅時代に建てられました。より一般的な寺院の配置とは異なり、龍岩寺の石塔は北の低い山頂にあり、四方を見渡せるユニークな場所にあります。ここには宝物に指定されている龍岩寺の東西三重石塔があり、大成殿には磨崖仏と木造阿弥陀如来坐像がある。
