公州から大田に向かう川に沿って右側に金剛江があります。この川に沿って進むと、右側にブルティギョ橋という赤いアーチ型の橋があります。この橋の向こう側には、よく整備された広大な森である金剛休養林があります。かつて、この辺鄙な村には船でしか行くことができませんでした。 1994年に忠清南道森林環境研究所がこの地域に移転し、よく保存された密林を金剛休養林に指定し、1997年10月に森林博物館が開館しました。金剛休養林は他の休養林とは異なります。この森は、遊歩道のある鬱蒼とした森というよりは、整備された道路に森林博物館、樹木園、温室、池、野生動物公園などの見どころが点在しており、都市公園のような印象を与えます。
