南原自然休養林は天皇山のふもとに位置しています。樹齢20～30年の朝鮮松が330,578平方メートルの敷地に広がり、その間に全長4キロメートルの遊歩道があり、森林浴に最適な場所となっている。森林休養施設には、宿泊施設、運動場、セミナールーム、プールやキャンプファイヤー場など便利な施設が整っています。また、自然がよく保存されており、小さな野生動物が現場で目撃されるため、野外旅行の目的地としても最適です。
