積碧江周辺は天然記念物に指定されているマチルスが生息するなど、植物の分布価値が高い地域です。この崖は、チェソクガン(Chaeseokang)川やギョクゴ(Gyeokgo)ビーチなどの近くの観光スポットを訪れる際に、地質学的および生態学的な教育を行うのに最適な場所です。この崖の大部分は、火山流紋岩と堆積性頁岩が融合して形成される独特の岩であるペパーライトで構成されています。
