ソウル市瑞草区盤浦 4 洞に位置するモンマルトル公園は、当初はアカシアの木が密生する野生の森でした。 2000年、ソウル市が実施した盤浦洞貯水池開発事業の一環として、この丘の上は観光客の休憩場所として一般公開された公園となった。この公園は、ソウルのフランス人地区であるソレ村に近いため、「モンマルトル公園」という名前が付けられました。
