8,000万年前に安山岩質火山が噴火した後、火山灰と火砕物によってさまざまな岩石層が形成されました。長い年月をかけて岩に波が打ち寄せ、侵食された海食崖、波で削られた台地、海食洞が形成され、現在は伊岐台公園と呼ばれています。大龍島へ続く海岸散策コースや様々な地質・地形景観を楽しむことができます。
