It is a 524m high mountain located 12km northwest of Goseong-eup, Gyeongsangnam-do and consists of three peaks: Oknyebong Peak, Seondobong Peak, and Mangseonbong Peak. At the northern foot, there is the historic Okcheonsa Temple and hermitages such as Baeknyeonam, Cheongyeonam, and Yeondaeam, and special products such as pine mushrooms and raspberries are famous.

Although Yeonhwasan Mountain is a provincial park, the mountain landscape and foothills are more majestic than expected. It's not spacious. It is appropriate to describe it as a simple and charming mountain. The meaning of visiting Yeonhwasan Mountain should be seen as exploring Okcheonsa Temple. When you climb Yeonhwasan Mountain, you can see the indigo sea of ​​Danghangpo to the south and the panoramic view of Okcheonsa Temple buried in the mountains. Okcheon Spring, located behind the main hall of Okcheonsa Temple, does not dry up all year round and its water volume and temperature are always constant. It is said that the water from this spring is effective in treating gastrointestinal diseases and skin diseases. In 1948, Okcheongak was built on top of the spring to preserve it.
