Gimpo Marine Park is the first security awareness experience center in the metropolitan area created using a landing ship (LST) that was retired in December 2006 after protecting the sea for the past 62 years. You can have unique experiences such as various attractions and security experiences. There is a cultural tour guide, so you can enjoy viewing the exhibition halls, including the video theater, cabin reproduction space, Korean War publicity hall, and Warrant Officer Han Joo-ho's memorial hall, while listening to the guide's explanations. If you pass the upper deck and go up to the wheelhouse and war room, there is a space where soldiers lived, and through this space you can indirectly get a glimpse into the life of the navy. When you stand on the bridge, the highest point of the Unbong ship, you can feel the atmosphere of the West Sea right before your eyes.
