Micheongul Cave is an important resource with academic, tourist, and cultural value, and its surrounding areas include clean air, clean water, green fields, and volcanic cones. In particular, the underground space of primordial darkness becomes a creative space for contemplation and abstraction about the essence and future of humans. It is a space where you can experience absolute natural beauty that cannot be experienced in the city, and a 365m section out of a total of 1,700m is open. The entrance to Micheon Cave was formed by a ceiling depression, and the ceiling thickness is relatively shallow. The basalt flow that formed the cave developed a lophy structure that indicates the direction of flow on the ground surface of the cave.
Before exiting the cave, there is a heart-shaped photo zone to the right of the exit. Micheon Cave is also famous as a filming location for the SBS entertainment show 'Running Man'.
