Yongyeon Bridge is a tourist attraction located 10 minutes west of Jeju Airport. Yongyeon is a stream that flows into the valley located in Yongdam-dong, Jeju City. It flows from the ridge to the beach, where sea water and fresh water meet, creating a mystery. There is a legend that the water in Yongyeon did not dry up even during a drought, so the dragon that lived here ascended to heaven and made it rain. Because of its abundance of water, it was also used as a place for ancestors to enjoy entertainment. The Yongyeon Cloud Bridge, connected by a suspension bridge, is a 2.2m wide and 42m long suspension bridge that connects the rocky cliffs of Yongyeon. You can enjoy the scenery where the red pavilion and the emerald valley come together like a painting. It is a place with a particularly beautiful night view, making it a great place for an evening walk. At night, you can see the colorful lights on the bridge, a calm lake, and a lush forest of trees creating a spectacular sight. In addition, Jeju Olle Course 17 passes through this place, so you can feel the beauty and gentleness of Jeju’s nature.
