Seungri Observatory, located in the very center of the 155-mile armistice line, is the place with the best observation of North Korea. It is a place where you can see not only the movement of North Korean troops, but also the sites of the division of North and South Korea at a glance, including the Gyeongwon Line Railway, Gwangsam Plain, and Achim-ri Village. . It is a civilian control area located 5 to 20 km south of the Southern Limit Line outside the Demilitarized Zone, and is also called the Civilian Entry Control Line. After 1953, the military demarcation line between the North and South Korean armies was designated as the DMZ, where both sides retreated 2km, and access was restricted.
