- May 18th Democratic Meritorious Persons and their bereaved families registered pursuant to Article 7 of the 「Act on the Honorable Treatment of May 18th Democratic Meritorious Persons」

- Veterans registered in accordance with Article 5 of the Act on the Honorable Treatment of Veterans and the Establishment of Organizations

-Special mission performers and their surviving family members registered pursuant to Article 6 of the Act on Support and Establishment of Organizations for Special Mission Performers

-Recipients under the National Basic Living Security Act

-Forest Love Instructor appointed pursuant to Article 46, Paragraph 1 of the Forest Protection Act

- Green Forest Leaders selected in accordance with Article 12 of the Act

- A person residing in the town/myeon/dong where the relevant natural recreation forest is located

- People who regularly visit temples within the natural recreation forest

- A person similar to subparagraphs 1 to 15 and notified by the Commissioner of the Korea Forest Service as requiring exemption from the entrance fee

- Vietnam War veterans and their spouses

- Families providing certificates of ‘prestigious family completing military service’

- Entrance fee exemption during the winter season (December to March). State-owned natural recreation forests (Jeolmul, Seogwipo) are excluded from the winter admission fee exemption.
