|
Jukseoru (treasure), located on top of Osipcheon Cliff, is Korea's representative pavilion. It was rebuilt on the old site by Kim Hyo-son, the governor of Samcheok, in the 3rd year of King Taejong's reign (1403) of the Joseon Dynasty. Since then, it has been repaired, tiled, and expanded dozens of times until today. Jukseoru has architectural characteristics and beauty in that its lower level is composed of 17 pillars, 9 of which are built on natural stones and 8 of which are built on stone foundations, and the upper level has 20 pillars with eight pillars. It's the roof.
