Gongjaksan Mountain is 887.4 m high and was named Gongjaksan Mountain because the ridge extending from the top is spread out like a peacock's wings. From the top, you can see the whole of Hongcheon-gun at a glance, and the scenery is beautiful and the rock walls that look like they were carved out are spectacular. Suta Valley, which is about 8km long and runs from the summit to Sutasa Temple and Nocheon-ri, about 6km below the southwest ridge, has a variety of wonderful rocks and beautiful scenery that are incomparable.

When viewed from the top of the mountain, the entire Hongcheon-gun is visible at a glance. , azaleas in the spring and cypresses in the fall, along with the sheer rock formations and autumn leaves captivate the hearts of those who see them. Snow-covered winter mountains are also a place that attracts hikers.
