하도해변은 제주시에서 동쪽으로 향하는 해안도로 구좌읍 하도리에 위치한 해변이다. 수심이 낮아 아이들과 함께 온 가족 단위 피서객들로 가득하다. 찾는 관광객이 많지 않아 상대적으로 물이 깨끗하고 전망도 좋다. 바다 낚시와 야영도 함께 즐길 수 있고, 야외 웨딩 촬영으로도 많이 방문한다. 파도도 높지 않아 서핑, 피싱카약, 스노클링, 페달보트 등 해양레저체험이 가능하며, 다양한 해양 생물들을 만날 수 있다.
