평대해변은 제주 동쪽에 위치한 해변으로 제주올레 20코스가 지나는 곳이다. 바닷속이 투명하게 비칠 전도로 깨끗한 바다이다. 영화 <계춘할망>의 촬영지이기도 하다. 해변이라기엔 작은 편이지만 한적한 바다를 즐길 수 있다. 해안도로를 따라 드라이브를 하기 좋다.
