이호테우해변(이호해수욕장)은 제주시내에서 가장 가까이 있어 교통이 편리하고, 편의시설도 잘 갖추어져 있다. 또한 백사장의 경사가 완만하여 많은 피서객들이 찾으며 특히 야영하기에 안성맞춤인 솔숲을 끼고 있다는 점이 매력적이다. 이 해수욕장은 야경이 아름답기로도 유명해서 야간방문객들도 많고, 해수욕장 주변에는 싱싱한 생선회를 맛볼 수 있는 횟집도 여럿 있다. 그리고 배를 빌려 타고 선상 낚시도 할 수 있고, 방파제에서 릴낚시를 즐길 수 있다. 특히, 이 일대는 '모살치'라는 물고기가 잘 낚이기 때문에 낚시꾼들의 발길이 잦다.
